Aarushi is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Since joining Beta Alpha Psi in 2018, she has been an active and enthusiastic member of the chapter. She completed a vacation position at Deloitte in the summer of 2018/2019 in Tax. As President for 2019, she’s very excited for all the opportunities in the year ahead and looks forward to giving back to the BAP community. Aarushi is an active member of the community, who enjoys volunteering her time for various organisations, including the weekly Homework Club at Dixon Neighbourhood House. Her other interests include travelling, photography, and playing with her dog.
Enthusiastic and driven, Emma strives to be her best self and help others do the same. She has a positive outlook on life and sees every experience as an opportunity for continuous growth and improvement. She loves problem solving, getting to know people and finding silver linings. She also enjoys travelling, hiking, playing sport and is (more often than not) a proud part of the Tiger Army (Richmond AFL supporter). In her final year studying Accounting and Behavioural Commerce, she’s looking forward to a fulfilling career where she gets to work with amazing people and make substantial, positive impacts.
Christian Morina is entering his fourth year as a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Banking and Finance and Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at the Caulfield campus. Having joined the chapter in 2018, Christian relished the opportunity to be a part of a community of highly driven individuals. For 2019, Christian has been elected to the leadership committee as Treasurer, an opportunity he views as his chance to contribute to the ongoing growth of the chapter. Always one to push the boundaries, Christian likes to keep himself mentally and physically active outside of studying, but also spends a disproportionate amount of his weekends following National and International sports, and in particular, patiently awaiting a St Kilda Premiership.
Sarah is a second-year student undertaking a double degree in Accounting and Business. Sarah Joined Beta Alpha Psi - Xi Epsilon (Monash University) mid-2018 as an Associate Member and was promoted to Full Member before the end of 2018 due to her commitment and high level of involvement with BAP. Sarah enjoys going on road trips, photography, thrift shopping and spending time with family, friends and her beloved 8-year old puppy. With extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Sarah hopes to branch out and develop more technical skills and would like to study abroad before the end of her degree.
Oliver is entering his second year at Monash University studying a double degree in Actuarial Science and Commerce. Oliver joined Beta Alpha Psi - Xi Epsilon halfway through 2018 as an associate member. In his spare time, Oliver is a keen Los Angeles Lakers supporter and enjoys watching Sacramento Kings' highlights. He also enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his six-year-old dog. A keen burger enthusiast, Oliver has spent the past year meeting up with friends and eating burgers from all across Melbourne and also is more than happy to mix it up with the odd souvlaki.
YiShan is currently in her third year studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Finance double degree. She is a Monash Business School Scholar and Ambassador and is passionate about leadership and giving back to the community. YiShan was a participant in the Deloitte Insiders program, PwC Insight Academy and KPMG Foundations program and looks forward to finding vacationer work in the summer of 2019-2020. Beta Alpha Psi has been pivotal in giving YiShan an exposure to the world of Business and Accounting, a community of business-minded peers and opportunities to further her professionalism and leadership skills. Beyond these, YiShan is passionate about mentoring younger youth and is active in ministry and leadership at her local church.
Christine joined the Monash Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi as a member in 2018 and is very excited about the opportunity to join the 2019 committee in the role of secretary. She is in her third year of a Commerce and Finance degree and has joined the Assurance team at PwC as a trainee in 2019. Christine is a driven and enthusiastic member of the BAP community and looks forward to giving back and contributing to BAP’s success in the future. She is passionate about encouraging people to be the best they can be and loves the giving back aspect of the Beta Alpha Psi program. In her spare time, Christine enjoys playing both netball and the violin.
Ellen has been a part of Monash University's chapter of Beta Alpha Psi since its inaugural year in 2017 where she served as Secretary. She is currently in her final semester of a Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Banking and Finance double degree. In 2016 Ellen received a New Colombo Plan scholarship to study at Peking University, China and in 2018 undertook a semester abroad at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. In 2019 Ellen hopes to provide guidance and share knowledge to the new committee, ensure a successful regional meeting hosted by Monash University, enjoy her final semester at Monash University and hopefully get a graduate position. Beyond this, Ellen enjoys playing tennis, eating, travelling, volunteering and hanging out with friends.
