Christian is embarking on the final year of a Bachelor of Banking & Finance and Bachelor of Business at the Caulfield Campus. Having been involved with BAP Monash since 2018, including as Project Run With It representative in 2019, Christian is honoured to have the opportunity to lead the chapter in 2020. An ambitious individual, Christian has taken on the Presidency role as a way to give back to the BAP Community and hopes to have a tangible impact on the professional development and growth of his peers. Aside from his professional pursuits, Christian enjoys the beach, all things automotive and hopes to further explore Australia and the world.
Jaskaran is currently in his penultimate year of Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance at Clayton campus. He was elected as the treasurer and secretary for Beta Alpha Psi- Xi Epsilon chapter for 2020, and views it as an excellent opportunity for interpersonal and professional development, whilst hoping to make a worthwhile contribution to the growth of the chapter. Graduating in 2021, Jaskaran aims to become a full-time trader and, little ways down the road, having his own proprietary trading firm. With his weekends wide-open, he likes to volunteer at Vinnies, followed by short day-trips or, as a great lover of old literature and poetry, indulged in books.
Frances is entering her penultimate year of a Bachelor of Accounting and Business with a major in Banking & Finance at the Caulfield campus. Having commenced her membership with Beta Alpha Psi on 2020, she is also excited to be serving as Events Director. Positive, driven and a believer of continuous improvement, she is always trying to challenge herself and do things outside of her comfort zone. Outside of Monash, Frances works as a retail assistant and also volunteers as an administrative assistant for a resource centre. In her spare time, she finds enjoyment in running, playing piano, road tripping and hiking with friends.
Emma is currently in her fourth year studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts. She has a keen interest in Accounting and Psychology and hopes to combine the two in a future career. Since joining the chapter in 2019, Emma has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi – Xi Epsilon and is excited to join the committee in 2020 serving as Marketing Director. In her spare time, Emma loves being involved in a choir, playing piano, and volunteering at Wholefoods Restaurant.
Shue Wei Wong
Shue Wei joined BAP Xi Epsilon in late 2019 and is excited to serve as Events Director this year. She is entering the second year of a double degree in Law and Commerce (Accounting). Shue Wei has recently completed an internship at a Singapore-based consulting firm in the health care space. She is enjoying her university experience and the unique opportunities at Monash. She hopes to spend a semester abroad in Europe next year. Shue Wei looks forward to contributing to the committee’s efforts to provide BAP members with opportunities for professional development and networking, volunteering and community outreach.
Hamish is in the graduating year of a Bachelor of Accounting and Business with a major in Banking & Finance at the Monash Caulfield campus. Hamish was initiated into Beta Alpha Psi Xi Epsilon as a full member at the beginning of 2019. Hamish quickly made it his mission to be engaged and to leave a positive impact on the Chapter, seeking opportunities to provide value to the leadership program. After six months, this endeavour saw Hamish undertaking the Committee Chair role, responsible for the executive reporting functions of the program. Outside of BAP, Hamish has enjoyed a wide variety of involvement at university, with UNIT Monash and Access Monash Ambassadors, which have provided him with the opportunity to serve his peers and community. Outside of his studies, Hamish actively pursues a balanced lifestyle, with passion for Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, travel and all things outdoors.
