Shue Wei Wong 

President

Shue Wei joined BAP Xi Epsilon in late 2019 and is excited to serve as President this year. She is entering her third year of Law and Commerce (Accounting) and is also studying a Diploma of Languages in Chinese Studies alongside her double degree. She is enjoying her university experience and the unique opportunities at Monash. Shue Wei looks forward to contributing to the committee’s efforts to provide BAP members with opportunities for personal and professional development, as well as volunteering and community outreach.

Frances Biranji
Treasurer/Secretary

Frances is entering her final year of a Bachelor of Accounting and Business with a major in Banking & Finance at the Caulfield campus. In 2020 she joined the Xi Epsilon chapter as an Events Director. This year, she is excited to be serving as the Treasurer/Secretary. Positive, driven and a believer in continuous improvement, she is always trying to challenge herself and do things outside of her comfort zone. Outside of Monash, Frances works as a retail assistant and also volunteers as an administrative assistant for a resource centre. In her spare time, she finds enjoyment in running, playing the piano, road-tripping and hiking with friends.

 

Gabrielle Terliatan 

Communications Director

Gabrielle is currently in her penultimate year of a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Commerce (majoring in Accounting) at the Clayton campus. Gabrielle was initiated into Beta Alpha Psi at the beginning of 2020. As an active member of BAP during 2020, Gabrielle soon realised that she wanted to be a part of the BAP committee to help advance BAP towards a flourishing future. As an inspiring solicitor, Gabrielle endeavors to work in a commercial law firm after graduating at the end of 2022. Outside of Gabrielle’s academic studies, she works as a part-time administrative receptionist for a podiatry clinic and as a student administrative research assistant for Monash University. In Gabrielle’s spare time, she volunteers at her local church, loves to cook and is a big fitness junkie.

Sarah Wang 

Co-Marketing Director

Sarah (Xiaochen) is currently in her third year studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Law and Commerce with a major in Accounting. Despite only joining BAP recently in late 2020, Sarah is looking forward to furthering the success of the Xi Epsilon Chapter in her role as the Co-Marketing Director for 2021. As an optimistic and driven individual, Sarah is continuously on the pursuit for self-improvement and is always seeking opportunities to step outside of her comfort zone. Outside of university, Sarah works as a waitress and spends her spare time creating art. 

Alfie Torres

Executive Reporter

Alfie is commencing his final year of a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Information Technology at Clayton Campus. Alfie was initiated into BAP Xi Epsilon as an associate member in late 2019 and is honoured to serve as the chapter’s executive reporter for 2021. Alfie hopes to make a positive impact on the chapter by using his role to improve member engagement and involvement. Alfie is currently enjoying his university experience by involving himself organisations that align with business and technology. Aside from his professional pursuits, Alfie enjoys exploring different countries and its cultures, as well as kayaking and hiking around Melbourne’s rivers and trails.

Jaskaran Singh

Vice President

Jaskaran is currently in his final year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance at Clayton campus. He was elected as the treasurer and secretary for Beta Alpha Psi- Xi Epsilon chapter in 2020, and now has taken on the role of Vice Presidency in 2021. He views his time as a committee member as an excellent opportunity for interpersonal and professional development and hopes to continue to make a worthwhile contribution to the growth of the chapter. Jaskaran aims to become a full-time trader and, little ways down the road, having his own proprietary trading firm. With his weekends wide-open, he likes to volunteer at Vinnies, followed by short day-trips or, as a great lover of old literature and poetry, indulged in books.

Laura Smythe

Co-Marketing Director

Laura joined BAP in late 2019 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce majoring of Accounting. Laura is looking forward to being comarketing director with Sarah. Laura is enthusiastic, optimistic and loves learning about new things. In her spare time Laura enjoys playing guitar, baking, dancing and being with friends.
