Beta Alpha Psi is an international honour organisation for accounting, finance and business information systems students and professionals.
The primary goal of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the financial information field. This includes:

promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance and business information systems;

providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals; and

encouraging a sense of ethical, social and public responsibility.
OUR HISTORY
Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919. There are over 300 chapters on College and University campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi's formation.
The Monash University Chapter, Xi Epsilon, was founded in 2017 and is the first Beta Alpha Psi Chapter established in Melbourne, Australia.
OBJECTIVES
Recognise individuals whose time and efforts contribute significantly to promoting the honours society.
Recognise scholastic and professional excellence in the fields of accounting, finance, and information system.
Provide a forum in which students interested in business may interact with, learn more about, and create networks with working professionals.
Create a society among our members to enhance social, as well as academic ideals.
Promote leadership, integrity, continuous learning, and service through a variety of rewarding professional, social, and community activities.
Service the student body, the University, and the greater community.
